Safe Sanctuaries

The First United Methodist Church of Lake Luzerne, in accordance with the policies of the Upper New York Conference, is a Safe Sanctuaries congregation.  With our own procedures and rules, our church has created a safe environment for both children and vulnerable adults.  The Safe Sanctuaries Task Force, at the direction of the Administrative Council, created this Policy.  Below you will find the Policy in its entirety, most currently updated on July, 11, 2021.  The Policy is reviewed each year, and changed as necessary at the discretion of the Task Force.  If you have any questions regarding the Policy, please contact the Safe Sanctuaries Task Force Chair through our email: lakeluzerneumc@gmail.com.
