This week, we have a 2-for-1 deal.
First is the abbreviated service from December 27 — when we didn’t have any heat.
(It turns out that the emergency burner switch in the narthex had been shut off! How that happened remains a “divine mystery”.)
Second is the service from January 3. Our guest preacher for the day was Paula McMahon, who is a member of the Queensbury United Methodist church on a journey toward becoming a Certified Lay Minister. Part of the requirements for receiving her certification is to be a guest preacher on several occasions, and as our Staff-Parish Relations Committee Chairperson, Linda McCoy said, “We are happy to support her call and training toward the ministry!”
