Events for August and September
Our Summer Bazaar plans are shaping up to include quite a bit. Our Pastor and Youth Fellowship Superintendent are cooking up some cool games for kids with their “Kids’ Karneval,” There will be a food table filled with goodies, crafts for those interested, plus music by the Bear Naked Bears from 10am to 2pm. They’ll be set up on the porch, and an area to sit and enjoy their wonderful sound will be available to those that would like to listen. Of course, we can’t forget our friends at Moby Dick’s Fish Fry. New this year will be some special guests for both parents and children to meet. Don’t miss the free giveaways for paying customers while supplies last. Also, there will be a chance to buy tickets to September’s chicken barbecue too. We recommend buying before the deadline to get the best price, because there will be a limited number of barbecue tickets available the day of, and they will cost more. Speaking of September…
Christopher Churchmouse is so excited to be able to bring back his vendor fair for a fourth year. The Bear Naked Bears will be joining us once again, as well as Animal Adventure Author, Abbietta, and Wildflower Designs & Crafts. We hear that those adventurous raccoons of AAA have something new, so if you like the stories, you’ll definitely want to check it out. We’ll continue to post on Facebook to introduce other vendors who sign up to participate as the date gets closer. The church will have an area of things to muse over, so don’t forget to stop by our cover to see what neat things we have to offer. Last, but certainly not least, is Lick’In Chicken BBQ! We are thankful for their return in order to bring their delicious barbecue to our event. Get your tickets early, because there will be a limited number available the day of the vendor fair. See the below poster for more details on how to get your tickets, plus the menu for the day.
